We bought our Leaside house, privately, thirty seven years ago, when we moved to Toronto. We had no plans to sell, but, always thought that, when the time came, we would sell privately, probably to a contractor. All that changed a year ago however, when, very unexpectedly, we saw, and fell in love with, our dream farm in the country. Because it was getting close to Christmas, and we wanted to move quickly, we called Sarah. We realized shortly thereafter that it was the very smartest decision that we made. Professional, ethical, honest, efficient, caring and considerate. Every one of these words describes Sarah perfectly. Within what seemed like minutes our house was on the market....The house was photographed, floor plans drawn up, ads placed and "Open Houses" organized. Every small detail was tended to, and, within days, what was an exciting, but also pretty stressful, experience was successfully behind us. We know without a doubt that, the pitfalls that we avoided thanks to Sarah's knowledge and experience, and that of the team of experts that she has to consult with at Chestnut Park, could have turned into very real nightmares had we tried to navigate the sale on our own. - Judy and Ian McMartin

Welcome to Toronto! Toronto is the most populous city in Canada and the provincial capital. Located in southern Ontario on the north western shore of Lake Ontario and situated on a broad sloping plateau intersected by an extensive network of rivers, deep ravines and urban forests. Toronto is an exciting metropolitan city that has so much to offer its residents and visitors.

The city has a large collection of sky scrapers and high-rise buildings that grace the skyline. Protruding among these beautiful strong buildings is the CN Tower, the third tallest tower in the world. This well-known landmark and popular tourist attraction presents visitors with beautiful 360 degree views of Toronto.

When immersed in the city, you will be among a vibrant and dynamic culture. There are over 160 languages spoken in Toronto, and approximately 50% of the residents have been born in another county. Residents of Toronto experience all the city has to offer from the cultural museums, galleries, festivals, public events and sporting events. From strolling through the Royal Ontario Museum to see a featured exhibit to cheering one of Toronto’s sports team at the Air Canada Centre or BMO Field. Throughout the downtown core are districts that let residents find shops, businesses, restaurants and fashion to suit their taste.
